Today, I’m appearing on the prestigious Gotham Reads channel on YouTube, where I’ll be reading the story “Day of the Aquabear” from my first Laser Moose and Rabbit Boy book!
It’s a challenge to read graphic novels, because you kind of need to describe what’s going on but not too much. And do you do voices or not? I didn’t plan to, but I kind of ended up doing it anyway because my tone changes so much when I switch characters. This was a lot of fun to do and I hope you enjoy it! I’m really excited to be a part of this series, which is designed to help kids who are stuck at home during COVID-19. And the series already includes an eclectic list of amazing people such as Steve Buscemi, Henry Winkler, Dana Simpson, Jane Fonda, Kevin Bacon, Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon!!), and even former presidential candidates Cory Booker and Kamala Harris. I’m honoured to be included in such illustrious company!
