Laser Moose and Rabbit Boy, and the alien ship from the “Invaders” story!One of the best things about creating a graphic novel for kids is hearing from the kids themselves. I love hearing what readers think of the book! And I recently received a treasure trove of letters and art from Rideau Vista Public School in Westport, Ontario and wow it was so great to see all of these drawings of my characters and to hear what these Grade 2/3 kids thought of the book. Is Laser Moose destroying somebody’s tree house? I’m not sure what’s going on here, but I like it! Our heroes, looking happy and shooting lasers! It’s a roaring blue Aquabear! The final scene from the book. I love this version of Cyborgupine! Is this Cyborgupine’s secret hideout on fire? I don’t remember that happening! I love that this reader is building on the story and making up their own stories. Cool!
